Coys Anciens Pilotes

Maria Teresa de Filippis, the first woman to race in World Championship Grands Prix — she raced a Maserati 250F three times in 1958 — is in the line-up of 30 stars for the annual reunion of the Club des Anciens Pilotes at this month’s Coys Historic Festival.

Baron de Graffenried, who contested the 1948 RAC Grand Prix at Silverstone, will be back for its Golden Jubilee, with Bob Bondurant, Sir Jack Brabham, Tony Brooks, Hans Herrmann, Stirling Moss, Clay Regazzoni, Roy Salvador’ and ‘Mano’ Ramos. The £5 souvenir programme for the BRDC event includes a superb reproduction of the 1948 Grand Prix programme. MP
