Cholmondeley aims for variety

A raft of different cars and the participation of more car clubs are key developments for the second Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, to be held in the grounds of the Cheshire castle on July 18/19.

Running to a similar format as the inaugural event, organisers have tried to compile a varied entry list that includes some rare cars based in the north-west. New for 2009 are classes for rally cars, with Group B machines from the Slowly Sideways movement tackling the 1.2-mile course.

Also expected are the Hesketh 308E Grand Prix car of Mike Wrigley and a Group C Jaguar from Don Law’s stable.
