1. Colin Turkington BTCC 176pts
After two victories at both Oulton Park and Croft, Turkington is opening up quite a large points gap over the rest. He has five wins from the first 15 BTCC races and there are a further 15 events left. He’s beginning to emerge as a title favourite, although his RAC/WSR BMW will not necessarily be the best car to have at some of the other circuits. Colin has never before won the Silver Star.
2. Matt Neal BTCC 136pts
3. Jason Plato BTCC 131pts
4. James Thompson BTCC 106pts
Thommo only had 16 points last month but is now up to 106 thanks to two BTCC wins at Donington in the Team Dynamics Honda Civic, another at Oulton Park and a second place at Croft. He could be a contender, although he may have to miss the final rounds at Brands since he is committed to the V8 race at Bathurst.
5. Aaron Scott BRITISH GT 90pts
6. Stephen Jelley BTCC 84pts
7. Mat Jackson BTCC 45pts
8=. Martin Short British GT 32pts
8=. Michael Bentwood British GT 32pts
10. Paul O’Neill BTCC 16pts
