Sir, All true enthusiasts will echo Doug Nye’s condemnation of the fakers and false modifiers of historic racing cars. But when Doug says “Most of them know who they are”, surely he means “All of them know who they are”? Or does he perhaps mean, “I know who most of them are”? Time to start the clean-up campaign.
