Paul Lawrence has been in and around motor sport for more than half a century and for the past 30 years has worked full-time as a journalist and photographer at national level. His enduring passion for the sport covers everything from grassroots hillclimbing through to international rallying and historic racing. His teenage son Ben is a rising star of motor sport photography. In June, it was mainly ascents and gravel, with hillclimbs at Shelsley Walsh, Epynt and Doune fitted around rallies at Anglesey and the stunning Argyll Rally on the Cowal Peninsula of south-west Scotland.
