BRDC Awards

Prizes awarded at the British Racing Drivers Club’s Diamond Jubilee Dinner at the London Hilton on November 6 reflected this country’s recent run of sportscar successes. Manager Tom Walkinshaw and driver John Watson of the World Championship-winning Jaguar team received honours, as well as Group C2 Champion Gordon Spice. Le Mans winner Derek Bell earned the BRDC’s Gold Star accolade for a fourth consecutive year.
