VSCC'S Welsh weekend

Rain set in for much of the VSCC’s Annual two-dayWelsh weekend, with a 200-mile road-run there on the Saturday and the trial on the Sunday. The hills were in a difficult state due to the weather, and the popular Pilleth hills were being used for the last time, as the land is now the subject of development. At Smatcher, Roger Collings was reversing down when a gulley removed the petrol tank of his 19-litre Mercedes-Maybach but it was resecured and and he was able to continue.
