The Goodwood Revival Meeting will switch to a later September date in 2005 following confirmation that the event will run over the weekend of September 16-18 . This is a full two weeks later than this year’s event, and has been chosen to fit in around the Formula One race calendar. It will, however, now clash with the British round of the World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed. meanwhile, will return to a July date over the weekend of 8-10. However, that date does remain at the mercy of the ongoing British Grand Prix negotiations. The date originally assigned to Silverstone for the grand prix was July 3.
