Maserati against Ferrari
Maserati may be sitting pretty in the FIA GT Championship with two rounds to go — but the Italian make could be on the verge of keeping up its jinx in the major global sportscar series. Three MC12 crews — Andrea Bertolini/Karl Wendlinger, Michael Bartels/Timo Scheider and Fabio Babini/Thomas Biagi — are in the hunt going into the deciders in Dubai and Bahrain, but so too is Ferrari 550 Maranello driver Gabriele Gardel.
