Hartley in historic double

Lancastrian racer Steve Hartley completed back-to-back Historic F1 titles when he clinched the 2007 FIA championship during the ninth and final race of the season at Dijon-Prenois in France. Hartley retained the crown with his Arrows A6 and is now considering stepping up to a ground-effect chassis for 2008 in a bid for a hat-trick of titles. Mauro Pane (Tyrrell P34) and Peter Sowerby (Williams FW07) completed the top three in the championship.
