THE WIN WOOD CUP TRIAL

Definitely one of the better trials, the Winwood Cup Trial of the Berkhanasted M.C. & C.C. will start from Hudnall, near Hemel Hempstead, at 11 a.m. on February 27th. It is open to Harrow, Singer, M.G., West Middlesex Amateur and N.W. London Club members as well as to Berkhamstedians. The course in the Chilterns area embraces a route of fifty-five miles and two special tests besides the hills. Competition tyres are barred. A marking system will be used, the special tests included for general marks. The awards include the Winwood Cup, Visitors’ Cup, Team Awards, ‘Tankards for the best 10 per cent., and ash-trays for the next 10 per cent. in order of merit. Entries close on February 20th, at 5/per car, or 716 per car for invited members. Team entries 5/per team. There will be a lunch stop. The Clerk of the Course is B. G. M. Wilkes, of 6/9 G.N. fame.
