Re Motor Sport’s “Be prepared” editorial. Having read your review of a Range Rover, a little later I ordered one, unseen. (Compliment to your reviews?) Distributors said three months’ delivery and getting better.
It cannot now come in less than five months after order and no one is able or willing to give me any idea of when I may get it.
The point of this is that had a Toyota Land Cruiser been available I should have bought one, in sheer frustration, although not as good as a RR.
This is the first British car I have ordered for some time since an E-type Jaguar (again on your review) and it looks like being the last for some time.
Having cut my teeth on an SS100 Brough you will realise I am old enough to not take kindly to this take-it-or-leave-it attitude.
