Earlier this year I was at Brands Hatch watching some rather boring touring car racing. During this meeting, between morning warm-up and the actual race, I decided to go and purchase my normal copy of Autosport, which I buy with regular anticipation each week. Unfortunately the kiosk selling magazines at the circuit had no copies, but I was recommended that I should buy MOTOR SPORT by the vendor. The following day, I had my yearly subscription in the post, and a new dimension of motor racing was presented to me.
Being only 28 years of age, your articles on drivers and cars of decades ago has opened up a whole new era of motor racing to me, and the recent video of the Cosworth DFV and Lotus was excellent. Seeing Hill, Surtees and Clark sliding about on the limit was truly great.
I now await my copy of MOTOR SPORT each month with even more relish than my Autosport. Just fantastic.
