Volkswagen’s Wolfsburg factory is producing a special run of 2,500 GT Beetles specially for Britain to .commemorate the 300,000th Beetle tor Britain Which came off the production line in late November. Priced at just £19 more than a standard 1300 Beetle this special Cl’ version features a 1,600-c.c. engine, sports wheels, radial ply tyres, front disc brakes and various other extras worth £100. These special Beetles are available in VW showrooms now.
