Beaujolais success

In contrast to the much-publicised efforts of other Englishmen to bring back the Beaujolais Nouveau as quickly as possible, David Howard, who deals in vintage and thoroughbred cars, chose to treat his six cases in a more seemly fashion. For the 800-mile trip he used a 1925 Citroen, and took four days at a leisurely 35 m.p.h. The only problem was the result of dirty fuel, but he claims that “it rained, hailed or snowed every day!”.
