This splendid rendering of Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird K4 is the latest masterpiece from well-known artist Arthur Benjamins. Entitled ‘August Reflections’, it captures Campbell’s 141.74mph water speed record set on a flat Coniston Water on August 19 1939, just before the outbreak of World War Two. Blue Bird Publications is producing 500 prints. 350 unsigned copies will sell for £10.95. 135 have been signed and numbered by the artist and will sell at £29.95, while Sir Malcolm’s daughter Jean Wales has co-signed 15 which will retail at £49.95.
