Nomad heads back to the track

South Wales-based racer Terry Davison was unfortunate to damage his rare Nomad Mk3 sportsracing car at Silverstone earlier in the season. But while that car remains under repair, Davison has just acquired Mk2, which stood for many years in the Midland Motor Museum near Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

Only three examples of the pretty Group 6-type car were produced and Davison now owns two of them. The Mk3 is being rebuilt by Roger Dowson at Silverstone and should be ready for the HSCC’s RIB Thundersports series again this season. The Mk2 will also need work before it is race-ready. PL
