Entries build for 'Le-jog'

July 7, 2014

Around 50 crews, including some from across mainland Europe, will tackle the annual Land’s End to John O’Groats Reliability Trial. ‘Le-Jog’ will start from Land’s End on Saturday December 6, finishing at the northern tip of Scotland on Tuesday morning after 1400 miles on some of the most demanding roads in England, Wales and Scotland.

Organiser Peter Nedin of HERO is promising a challenging route and new venues for special tests, with overnight halts at Runcorn and Carlisle. As usual, the tricky Welsh night leg will test crews, in a route that avoids clashes with Wales Rally GB.

Paul Lawrence

Here is a man who goes racing every weekend from March to October. Paul’s passion for the sport goes back to when he was a child of the 1960s. He has organised, competed in and marshalled on scores of events, and has written about the subject for 20 years. He is as at home in the paddock at Brands Hatch as in a Welsh forest or at Shelsley Walsh.
