WTCC Yvan Muller wrapped up the title at Macau with third and second in the two races, finishing 26 points clear of Gabriele Tarquini. Japanese Keisuke Kunimoto won the prestigious Macau F3 race.
A1GP Team Pakistan missed the season’s first three races after Adam Khan had problems getting comfortable in the car. The team had to redesign the powered-by-Ferrari racer. n Filipe Albuquerque won for Team Portugal at Chengdu. It is the 17th nation to win an A1 race.
GP2 The Algarve International Circuit will host the 2009 finale. The circuit will also be used for F1 testing this winter. n Pastor Maldonado, confirmed at the ART Grand Prix team, topped the first day of testing at Jerez, while Kamui Kobayashi of DAMS finished day two on top.
ROC Lewis Hamilton will demo his McLaren F1 car at the Wembley event on December 14, before racing a Mercedes-Benz road car against triple Olympic gold medallist Chris Hoy on his bike. David Coulthard has also been confirmed for the event. n The KTM X-Bow and RX Racing RX150 buggy have been added to the car line-up.

MotoGP Czech GP organisers have signed a deal for the Brno track to host the race until 2013.
