Hill Lotus fixed after accident

The ex-Graham Hill Lotus 49-R3, normally on show at the National Motor Museum, has been repaired after it was damaged at Silverstone in May. Rob Hall from Hall and Hall drove the car at a Mallory Park test day (left) before it was delivered back to Beaulieu, now returned to immaculate condition.

The rare 1967 car was damaged during a press day for the Silverstone Classic. Museum manager Doug Hill was driving when he lost control at Woodcote and damaged two corners of the car against the pitwall.
