Sponsored by Digital Equipment Ltd, who back the British Air Racing Championships, the Digital Schneider Trophy Handicap, for piston-engined aeroplanes up to 12,500 lb. maximum weight, will take place on June 24th, over 135 miles, or three laps of the famous Schneider Trophy seaplane course, finishing off Ryde Pier. The winner receives a replica of the historic Schneider Trophy, A computer, and £2,500. The start is from Bembridge aerodrome. This year’s King’s Cup race will be flown from Finningley on September 2nd. —W.B.
