Tracing Tojeiros

Sir,

Through an advertisement in Motor Sport I have recently purchased the rolling chassis of a Tojeiro car.

John Tojeiro, who has been to see the car, confirms it as one of his early twin-tube frames of around 1953-4. It is interesting that the chassis is 12in longer than standard at 8ft 3in, and it has the letters P.H.C. 101 stamped on the front of the frame. It is equipped with Alfin drums and wire wheels.

The last owner confirms that it was owned by one Andy Scott of Great Missenden, Bucks, in the early 1970s; unfortunately his whereabouts are not known. Does any reader remember the car, or the initials P.H.C. 101?
