Potter Trophy

The Potter Trophy in the VSCC’s Northern Ashboume Rally was won by Adrian Chetde/Mrs Chettle (Ford Model A) and the Team Award went to the three-car 30/98 Vauxhall outfit.

VCC’s weekend

The VCC’s South Western Welsh weekend had a good turnout for various social splendours, with routes chosen to suit the driver’s estimate of his car’s ability. As A7s predominate in VSCC events, so Renaults seemed to in this one, but there was admirable variety, from Johnny Thomas’ 1902 GB Napier to a stately R-R, the latter perhaps anticipating a time when those of up-to-1914 antiquity will be seen going down to Brighton!

Invicta CC

We learn from the Invicta CC magazine that David Venables has acquired the ex-Douglas Blain 3-litre Invicta tourer.
