Racing Aston Martins from 50 years apart to fly the flag as the featured marque on a packed race card
Over 500 competitors and 22 races will make the Silverstone Classic one of the biggest historic race meetings of 2006.
Aston Martin is the featured marque and a special demonstration will put the 50-year old DBR1 on the track alongside the very latest 2006 DBR9 GT race car on both the Saturday and the Sunday of the July 28-30 event.
Racing will start on Friday afternoon with Formula Junior and Gentleman Drivers’ races, before 11 races on Saturday and a further nine on Sunday. Headline races include Grand Prix Masters, Group C/GTP, Orwell Supersports and the inaugural Woodcote Trophy race for pre-56 sportscars.
Advance tickets are just £15 per day and can be booked at www.silverstoneclassic.com
