Shelsley event to honour BRM

Shelsley Walsh will be the setting for a major celebration when the 50th anniversary of Graham Hill’s first Formula 1 World Championship crown and BRM’s Constructors’ title are marked at the Worcestershire hillclimb venue on June 2/3.

There will be a competition class for BRMs, and a P25 and a P261 are confirmed. The organisers hope to attract a V16 and the 4WD Techcraft BRM for demonstration runs. There will be a static display of BRMs at the event, which runs alongside a round of the British Hillclimb Championship.

Notable names on hand from BRM history should include Tim Parnell, Tony Southgate and Peter Lawson.
