Time is running out to have your say on the greatest grand prix in the 70-year history of the Formula 1 World Championship.
With the help of our social media followers, we have whittled 1018 World Championship races down to a shortlist of five, with a public vote to identify the winner.
Will it be John Surtees’ 0.2sec victory over Jack Brabham at the 1967 Italian GP, or the 1971 Monza race, a classic slipstreamer that featured the top five split Greatest GP voting now open by just 0.61sec at the flag? Wet weather assisted the drama in three of the races: Senna’s masterclass at a soaking Donington in 1993 and Damon Hill’s victory in the Jordan at Spa in 1998. Jenson Button’s unlikely 2011 win in Canada, where he rose from 21st to first, is the final option. Voting closes on June 19.
