New Caravan Scheme.

Many motorists have experienced the urge to go caravanning at some time, but the initial impulse has not been sufficient to get past the idea. Moreover, doubt is often felt as to whether a certain type of car will be capable of towing a trailer in difficult country. To relieve motorists of all doubt, however, as to whether their cars will safely and conveniently take a trailer in tow, bearing in mind, also, the number of persons to be carried, the firm of Bruce & Co., of 53-54, Haymarket, London, S.W.1. have arranged a special advisory service through which an owner, on the testimony of experts, may learn the precise capabilities of his car. Thus, he will be informed whether three, four, or more persons may be taken ; whether the car will without difficulty negotiate hilly districts such as North Wales or Lakeland with a trailer in tow ; and precisely what the cost of such an excursion will be. •

This service, which is entirely free, is certain to give a further impetus to motor caravanning, as it will serve to remove many of the doubts which have hitherto beset would-be Romany holidaymakers.
