The President’s Driving Test was held at Heston Aerodrome on Sunday, May 6th, in glorious weather, with a bar, restaurant and other amenities laid on.
The morning was spent to an interesting regularity test, involving the negotiation of several chicanes and circulation of a roundabout, at which everybody had too runs. After lunch there were five driving tests, which once again were attempted twice. As the best time counted everybody tried to improve on their first time.
President’s Cup (outright winner): B.J. Emerton (TR2).
Spring Trophy (winner opposite class): B.D. Frost (Prefect).
