To correct a misleading impression imparted by a statement in our report on the B.A.R.C. ” International 200 ” Race Meeting at Aintree which appeared last month, we wish to emphasise that the B.R.M. car which ran at that meeting did not have Girling brakes, nor was Girling Ltd. consulted about the brakes on the B.R.M. The B.R.M. has Lockheed brakes, which were used without the servo for the Aintree race.
