Champions for champions

Many of the leading race and rally exponents rely on Champion sparking plugs. Six of the class-winning G.T. cars in the Tulip Rally used these plugs, N3 in the Jaguar XK150S and Austin Healey 3000, N5 in the 3.8 Jaguars and Porsche S90, L7 in the Morgan Plus Four. Every race at the B.R.D.C. Silverstone Meeting was won on Champion – N58R in Salvadori’s Cooper, L58R in the FJ Lotus, N3 in the Jaguar saloon and Lola, N55R in Ireland’s F.1 Lotus.

Semperit tyres

Further to the review of tyres on the British Market, in Motor Sport for March and April, Austrian Semperit tyres, noted for long life under conditions of heavy usage, and for which all rubber is bought in London, are obtainable from Ryders Auto Service, Bootle.
