Recently the VW Owners’ Club celebrated its 1,000th member. The lucky man is 74-year-old Mr Alexander Howat from Falkirk, who, accompanied by his daughter, is going on a free four-day holiday abroad.

They will fly to Germany, and have a conducted tour of the VW factory at Wolfsburg. Coach trips have been arranged for them to see some of the more picturesque parts of Germany. The Club are very grateful to VW Motors Ltd. and Volkswagenwerk for their generous assistance in making this trip possible.
