Louis Coatalen

Sir,

At the conclusion of the interesting article on The Silver Bullet you say that Louis Coatalen was a mental wreck a few years later.

I knew this great man well during the period 1935 to 1938 often visiting him in his Paris flat of an evening and I can assure you that he was anything but a mental wreck.

At that time he was organising the Lockheed agency in France and running a works dealing with brakes which made money and appeared efficient. He was also intimately concerned with the KLG plug factory in France and died a rich man.

I think you do him less than justice.
