ONE of the best-Iiked VSCC race meetings is that which takes place at Oulton Park circuit, near Tarporley. This year the date of this Richard Seaman Memorial Trophies Meeting is June 12th, with action commencing around 13.15 hours. Eight to nine races are on the card, those for Historic racing-cars, pre-war racing-cars and vintage racing-cars, each over 16 laps, from scratch, and there is to be an 8-lap scratch race for 500 c.c. machines. Shorter scratch and handicap races will make up a programme which is always supported by a fine variety of the older racing and sports cars. Entries have closed. Points will again be scored towards this year’s MOTOR SPORT Brooklands Memorial Trophy, a contest which “hots up” around this time, with only two more meetings to go.
Public admission to Oulton Park will cost £3.50 for each adult, £1.50 for each child, with £2 extra for admission to the large grass Paddock. Car parking is free. Dogs cannot be allowed. — W.B.
