WRACE Return

Weslake Developments, whose name was a feature of Formula One in the Sixties, has formed a new research group, to design and develop both race and rally engines. To be known as WRACE (Weslake Research Advanced Competition Engines), the new outfit will undertake projects as a consultancy, and is already preparing plans for a 3.5-litre unblown F1 engine.

Thirty-five people are to be employed at a specially-built facility in Rye, Sussex.
