Come in no 12

As the registrar for the Lotus 12 model for the Historic Lotus Register I am seeking information a missing car. Twelve Lotus 12 cars were built between 1957 and 1958, chassis nos 350-361 inclusive. The register is nearly complete, except for chassis no 361, completed on 5 September 1958 and sold to Sid and Keith Green of Gilbey Engineering. In 1959 it was sold to Albert Gay and has nosubsequent history after 1959.

I am seeking information on a car known as the Nimrod which was run by Dave Havelock, a Vauxhall photographer. It ran at a monoposto press day at Brands on 9th November 1963, was yellow in colour and used the body and chassis of a Lotus 12.

In addition, a John Hally ran a Lotus/Nimrod special at Doune in Scotland in April 1972. If anybody can shed any light on these Nimrod cars and their owners it may help to complete the history of the missing Lotus 12.
