I have recently become reacquainted with Motor Sport, and congratulate you on what must be, at least for people of my generation, the finest publication of its kind.
However, I would like to point out that a small correction is required. On page 44 of the February issue centred around Cooper, a caption names me as being in a photograph passing the time in 1968 with Vic Elford.
This is not the case, however. While I always enjoyed talking to Vic, it was not me doing so on that day.
The other person in the photograph is another friend, Robin Widdows. This makes sense, of course, because Robin drove his only grand prix in a Cooper-BRM during the 1968 season.
I am, Yours etc,
