News in brief, June 2007

An ex-John Surtees Cooper T51 F2 car was unveiled at Race Retro after a restoration by Bancroft Motor Services. FJ racer Nigel Bancroft is likely to share the car this season with owner Greg Corley.

The ex-James Hunt/Patrick Tambay McLaren M26/05 will return to racing in the Masters race at Donington driven by Bobby Verdon-Roe, making his debut in historic racing.

A rare Ferrari 312B2 will return to racing after at least 30 years, to be driven by James Hanson in Grand Prix Masters events. The 3-litre, flat 12-engined car, in which Jacky Ickx won the 1972 German GP, should make its debut at the Silverstone Classic.
