Racing figures…

Arbuthnot Latham & Co is a different kind of bank which has a keen interest in motor sport. For years it has looked after the banking for historic racing series, and the financial affairs of professional and amateur drivers. The connection started in 1939 when Robert Arbuthnot won the Campbell Trophy in his Alfa Romeo 8C-35; now many of the bank’s motor sport team hold racing licenses!

Their annual motor sport champagne gathering was held in their London City offices, sponsored by Jet Republic. Host John Reed invited guests to try out the motor racing simulator and Damon Hill was among many to jump behind the wheel. Some familiar faces to attend included Christopher Tate of the Masters Series, Duncan Wiltshire of Motor Racing Legends and Carol Spagg from Historic Motor Racing News.
