Proud to be a press car number plate bore
As ever the Porsche cars GB press 911 Turbo came wearing the 911 HUL plate. This is so famous among 911 bores (among whose number I count myself) that people come up to you and tell tales of the Turbo they saw it on in the 1970s.
This and OPR 911 (always on a rear-drive Carrera) are two of few constant threads through my childhood, adolescence, adulthood and life as a motoring journalist. I’ll get my anorak.
