Sir, Apropos your article “FIAT Racing Engines 1922-27,” it may interest readers to know that the 1950 G.P. Triumph motor-cycle has a claimed output of 45 b.lx.p. on Pool, With a c.r. of 1: 1, and presumably at around 7,200 r.p.m. This would be an efficiency of I 2ih.p. per litre per /,000 r.p.m., not 11.11 as stated in hlotor am.
