Sunbeam Alpine Roadster or — Great Minds Think Alike — !

When, in our reviews of last year’s Paris and London Motor Shows, we attempted to classify the high-performance cars and out the Sunbeam Alpine down as a “roadster,” eyebrows were raised. In the American monthly Motor Trend, February issue, Walt Woron states: “First of all, I wouldn’t make the mistake of calling the Sunbeam Alpine a sports car, and I’m glad that the builders don’t either. I think it falls more closely into the touring-car category . . .”
