The Speed of P.V.T. Rolls-Royces

Sir,
I really must take you up on your remark that “p.v.t. Rolls-Royces . . . are not much joy above the mile-a-minute mark.” My 1934 D-back 6-light touring saloon, a 20/25 not a Phantom, regularly runs up to 75 m.p.h. (or at least it did until 22nd December last year). The only untoward sensation at this speed comes from my passengers when I point out the Speedometer reading to them.
