America Agrees

July 7, 2014

These days it is fashionable to follow America in actions, deeds and words. So it is not amiss to note that one of America’s best motoring journals, Road & Track, agrees with Motor Sport over certain car likes and dislikes. For instance, it rates the 6.3-litre Mercedes-Benz 300SEL as “best sedan in the World”, thinks the B.M.W. 2002 the best value for money, in the GT field, of cars it tested in 1968 (adding “That’s not a GT car! Maybe not by definition, but it sure does everything a GT ought to do . . . and better than most GTs even pretend to.”), and dislikes the Porsche Sportomatic transmission. So there!
