A Cosworth 'copter?

Sir,

Reading your fascinating article on Keith Duckworth, with its statement that “The helicopter principle offends his engineering science”, brings to mind the time that I was privileged to meet Mr. Duckworth when we were both learning to fly Brantley helicopters at Kidlington Aerodrome in 1967. He then stated that the helicopter seemingly opposed all known engineering principles.

Would it be possible, then, at some future date, when given time off from his many other projects, that a Cosworth helicopter might appear, or at least a helicopter incorporating many fresh ideas, perhaps even to form the basis of a fresh series of these machines?
