"Oh Dear" department

As I have explained in “Exeter Flashback.” the bad winter meant transcribing some of the February editorial copy via long-distance Telecom, and the mysteries of shorthand caused a few things in the last issue to go awry. Thus at the end of “Matters Of Moment,” please read “Milan and Naples” for the “Land of Naples”, the former being the birthplace of the bigger Alfa Romeos, Alfasuds being manufactured in Naples, and in the Editor’s comments on the Mazda RX-7 read “low 2-star m.p.g.”, for “low rear end”. I note that Mr. Foulkes-Halberd says he has been unable to find any record of “Morris” in Count Zborowski’s title. I can only reply that the Count’s tombstone at Burton Lanus is inscribed: “William Elliott Morris Zborowski, died April 1st, 1903, aged 45 years”. — W.B.
