Surely the 1965 Monaco Grand Prix should feature among the best races ever? Very little, so it seems, has ever been said about this remarkable event, Graham Hill’s stupendous effort in the race and the previously much-maligned BRM’s third successive victory here. I am much disappointed that it has only, to my knowledge, appeared very briefly on video.
I appreciated the article on Bob Gerard, to my mind a very finely and grossly underrated driver. I feel at the end mention should have been made of the singularly appropriate fact that at the VSCC Mallory Park meeting this year the race in the memory of Bob Gerard went to R14B! Thank you Julian Bronson. It made my day.
