Maranello Concessionaires back on track

Team Maranello Concessionaires is being relaunched for an assault on the FIA GT Championship this season.

Operated by Veloqx Motorsport of Brackley, the team will field a pair of Ferrari 360GTs for a quartet of established British racers: Jamie Davies, Tim Mullen, Kelvin Burt and Darren Turner.

The famous Maranello Concessionaires Racing Team scored 24 outright victories between 1961 and ’72, with drivers including Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart, in cars that were instantly recognisable thanks to their Cambridge blue noses.

Team founder Colonel Ronnie Hoare established the original Ferrari distributor centre in Britain, Maranello Concessionaires, which evolved to become Ferrari UK.
