Mallock's half-century

Mallock will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the debut of its first sports-racing car with a weekend dedicated to the constructor at Silverstone in August during a 750 Motor Club race meeting.

The cars were initially built and raced by Major Arthur Mallock and since his death in the mid-’90s his eldest son Richard has built cars for the Clubmans race series. Brother Ray has taken his team into the World Touring Car Championship with Chevrolet, but remains passionate about the family marque. “We think Mallock have been building and racing cars in a single dynasty longer than anyone else,” he said.
