WTCC BMW has confirmed its 2009 driver line-up, with Sergio Hernández replacing Felix Porteiro alongside Alex Zanardi in Team-Italy-Spain. Andy Priaulx stays at Team GB, as do Jörg Müller and Augusto Farfus at Team Germany.

ALMS Farnbacher Loles Racing will become the second factory-backed Porsche team in the American Le Mans Series this year. The deal means that Farnbacher, a race winner in GT2 last year, will field works driver Wolf Henzler in its 911 GT3-RSR alongside team regular Dirk Werner.
