Historic motor show Race Retro returns with high-speed action from legendary machines

You’ll find motor racing history at every turn at Race Retro – which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary

It’s always a pleasure to start the year off with a dose of good news: and it doesn’t get much better than the confirmed return of Race Retro, which is set to blast back into life at Stoneleigh Park on February 24-26.

After a three-year hiatus due to Covid, Europe’s premier historic motor sport show will again light up the Warwickshire halls with a plethora of classic machinery, special guests and high-octane live action. And this year’s event has some key changes aimed at improving the visitor experience even further. The show will benefit from a new layout for 2023, with the old, draughty halls Three and Four being axed in favour of a new bespoke exhibition area constructed alongside the main two halls.

Those in search of even more warmth will be pleased to know that the live rally stage will also return, bringing an array of fire-breathing competition brawn to life. Expect high-speed runs featuring WRC cars, including Group B monsters, while the layout change has allowed for new spectating areas. The preparation and service area has been moved between the halls and the live stage, so you can see the cars being prepped before their run.

Add a list of over 80 different exhibiting clubs, organisations and retailers, and it’ll be a winner. Oh, and Motor Sport will be there in full force, so come and say hello.
